The Vote Mask (TVM) 09/30/24
Four years ago, when the pandemic was in its infancy and PPE was scarce, a mask with a message seemed a perfect response to the moment: The Vote Mask was the brainchild of Liz Linder Photography, made in collaboration with the LLP team and Alphabet Arm Design; a timely response to a current challenge on multiple fronts.
The Vote Mask was designed to protect health and encourage voting in a historic pandemic. TMV created social posts to boost civic engagement through insightful and actionable info.
Subsequent designs incorporated timely messages: ‘Persist’, ‘Notorious’ and the red and blue striped ‘Unite’. Flash forward: our masks became part of the moment and were spotted on the likes of Billie Eilish & Michelle Wu along with other luminaries in a guerilla campaign. TVM was donated to voter advocacy organizations from our most local municipality to Get Us PPE and The New Georgia Project as part of a grass-roots effort to move the needle.
