A compelling portrait leaves space for the imagination, while pulling attention to a project, podcast, or new venture. A few years ago, we created an author image for Liz Bucar’s book - Stealing my Religion - a portrait that went on to be featured in the Wall Street Journal’s iconic hedcut column. So when Liz returned for the next book - Beyond Wellness (2026) - we embraced the opportunity to play with contrasting ideas (authoritative and relaxed!) for a portrait that cuts through the jargon.
