drama at large 08/18/11
this year we collaborated with actor's shakespeare project around a unique intersection of drama, language, age, and youth at risk. ASP has a way of bringing shakespeare to the masses, including those who don't have the freedom or mobility to attend a performance. we created a bare stage upon which simple props, words, and gestures brought personal dramas expressed in an unusual format. there were minimal rules: keep the players anonymous, use one prop, choose one word, and offer one gesture. and in the little downtime we had, the studio got involved, too - liz linder image courtesy rob lorino; rob lorino image courtesy liz linder.?
